As we ventured out beyond the wharf there was an icy wind and a light drizzle of rain, so we donned our bright yellow raincoats. It was a mighty effort trying to hoist the large sail. As we tugged on the sail a bit of rain came out from it Cruz got pretty wet. We soared upon the sea, going under the Harbour Bridge . A sea of green and flash boats, were all we could see for miles around us.
As we turned and headed back to the Maritime Museum we witnessed the New Zealand flag being raised for Tim O’Donald the first solider to pass away in Afghanistan .
